The Generation Rock program allows students to boost their musical skills while having an unforgettable experience. Here, students will learn, collaborate, and jam with others, online or on-site.

Our goal is to empower kids by allowing them to choose their own band, fostering lasting friendships and connections. Generation Rock is where your student can find the AC to their DC, the Revolution to their Prince, and perform on stage with their new crew. Our program has REAL concerts that benefit the community. Allow your budding Rolling Stone to perform for a good cause while building their confidence and skills, showing them they can do anything. This program is a one-of-a-kind experience every child should have.

Step 1: Cultivate A Musical Community
Generation Rock connects children in nearby communities and helps them form a band they’ll love.
Step 2: Practice Their Skills
A band leader coordinates individual lessons and group rehearsals to prepare them for the live shows. (And fight off any stage fright.)
Step 3: Join A Band
After practice and online lessons, ALL students get the chance to join a band and start jamming with their bandmates. Bands then have the chance to record and publish their music.
Step 4: Perform For The Community
The bands perform at live venues to benefit the community. Our concerts allow students to showcase their talents to their fans, with all profits going towards a good cause. Generation Rock takes care of the entire process, so all you have to do is sit back and watch (and maybe cheer from the audience) as your child grows into the best versions of themselves.

Why choose Generation Rock?
We provide a variety of learning and performance options that works with you and your child to provide the best music learning experience.
Parents start by creating an account, then the student creates their own Generation Rock profile. A band leader will reach out to schedule a FREE initial meeting, to talk through their experience level and interests.
After the meeting, students will get to work, learning songs through online music lessons. The Generation Rock band leader guides students toward other local kid musicians. Those who gravitate toward one another create bands! We do this because we know this is key to finding friendship and musical partnerships that last well beyond our program. Additionally, we offer music lessons for kids as they prepare to audition for bands.
At Generation Rock, your kid becomes part of a community of musicians, working together to
Jam out at concerts that support great causes. Once their band has been formed, they’re added to our next live show. To prepare for the show, the band starts in-person rehearsals practicing and perfecting their song.
Generation Rock finds the venues and the sponsors to the event. We record the entire performance in HD for you to keep! Our classes are more than just fostering a love for music, they’re about getting kids involved in charitable causes, raising awareness, and bringing people together through the power of music.
